What is your Comfort Zone? It is your normal sphere of activities, something you continually do, which does not cause you any negative thoughts or feelings.

It is something which you can accomplish without any fear. It includes, people, places, activities, anything in fact which does not in anyway generate a negative emotions. These are the areas of your life which are your own personal Comfort Zone. It is the area in your life which only generates positive thoughts and feelings.

It can thought limit your ability to expand and fulfill your own personal dreams.

The greater majority of successful people have the ability to expand their Comfort Zone to achieve their own desires and goals.

It is possible for everyone to expand their Comfort Zone and mentally condition themselves to be comfortable in any new situation. Plus of course, fight any anxiety, which can occur during the expansion period.

Here are four tips which will enable you to expand your own personal Comfort Zone:-

Tip 1. Understand Your Own Mindset. Mindset plays a massive role in determining our Comfort Zone. Mental conditioning programmed into our minds does determine the boundaries of our Comfort Zone. This means that how we form our Comfort Zone begins in our own minds.

Everyone has preconceived ideas of where the boundaries of their Zone lie. What is and what isn't comfortable for us and as such we set the guidelines of how, when and where we will act, to enable us to stay within our designated Comfort Zone.

You have personally chosen your boundaries. Know your boundaries! This is the first step to expanding them.

Tip 2. Be Disobedient. Deliberately break some of your own self-imposed rules and guidelines. You must let yourself loose and breaking some of your rules will enable you to seek new experiences.

Tip 3. Consider the true risk of breaking rules. It is important of course to assess the true risk, as opposed to what you feel (fear) the risk maybe. By knowing the difference you will easily be able to overcome your self-imposed limitations.

Tip 4. Challenge Yourself To Step Outside Your Comfort Zone. Many times we are unfortunately our own worst enemy when it comes to our self-imposed limitations and boundaries. By challenging yourself you will of course have to push yourself. There will be times when this seems just all too hard. When this happens you simply must just keep on with your challenge if you truly wish to expand your Comfort Zone.

Once you have met that Challenge, you will find that success will come to you and that makes it all the easier to continue to Challenge your Comfort Zones. Stretching them further and further with each new Challenge you set yourself.

When you try something for the first time you are bound to feel discomfort. We are all conditioned to fight change and to stay within our own personal Comfort Zone. You need to remind yourself that only YOU can push yourself out of your limiting Comfort Zone. No-one else can do this for you.

Be patience with yourself. Try just small steps at first, don't take on a massive Challenge, expand gradually, step by step. By doing this gradually and achieving success with each step, you will find that you will very soon be able to expand your Comfort Zone at will, without any fear or negative thoughts.

Keep your dreams before you! Expanding your Comfort Zone is all that is stopping you from achieving them.
