The Internet As Your Path To A Life Of Luxury
You can work your ass off slaving away for the man or you can start your own business, but really is that any better? Ask anyone who is self employed how much free time they have to spend living a life of luxury. Most don’t have any. Self employment can be a b*tch, but it can also be extremely rewarding especially if you do it right.
So what is the best business you can get into? That depends on you. Like they say “Do what you love and the money will follow.” With that said you may also find that your passion can be turned into cash through the internet. Making money online has a whole lot of benefits for example:
1) You make money online from anywhere in the world. You can hit the road and travel the planet while managing your business online.
2) You can set up an online business and then forget all about it and still watch the money roll in while you live a life of luxury.
3) You don’t need to carry any stock (but you can if you want). The internet is about information and if you can provide the information a person wants you can earn a tidy sum.
Sounds fantastic! You bet it is but if this is the first you have heard about making money online let me forewarn you; Making money online is a business. You will hear alot of hype telling you how fricken easy it but you do actually have to get off of your butt and work (thats a figure of speech because you don’t have to actually get off your butt. Yes you can do it all with out moving away from your computer screen, but you do have to work).
O.K. I am willing to work at it but how to you make money online?
I am glad you asked because I know all about this stuff and I am happy to tell you all about it.
1) Sell information products. All you need is a paypal account. You can create products yourself or buy them cheap. This site is golden to get you started and it is free to join: Information Ninja
2) Affiliate programs. You don’t need a penny to get started or even a product to sell (information product or otherwise). You can earn a commission from selling other peoples products. There are affiliate programs for everything from bongs to books. Amazon.com is a prime example of an affiliate program. You sign up for free, the affiliate gives you a link that you use to promote their product. Whenever someone makes a purchase through your affiliate link you get paid a portion of the profits.
3) Advertising. People will pay you to put links or ads on your websites. The easiest way to do this is with google adsense. Once again this program is free to join. Google will give you a bit of code to place on your site and when people click on the ads that code generate you earn cash. The key is to create alot of websites with alot of fresh original content, but you dont have to have a billion sites you can still make a profit with only one site if that site gets a sh*t load of traffic, which brings me to a key point.
TRAFFIC
If you want to succeed online no matter what method you use you will need lots of traffic. Getting traffic to your website is a huge topic and a whole other lesson. Here are the basics to getting a wholelotta traffic:
1) Original content. Keep it fresh. Update it often.
2) Backlinks. Create lots of links from other websites that connect to your website
Thats the stripped down basics but if you do a search on SEO you will be able to find that the subject of getting traffic is endless.
Life Of Luxury
How can you live a life of luxury?
1) Education – Get an education, get a good job, work hard, save your money. Realistically getting an education is the way to go if you want to live a life of luxury. I highly recommend it. Of course it is not for everyone and with everything in life there are no guarantees. After years of hard work and finally paying off your student loan you can start living the good life, that is if your boss will let you have the time off. Lets face it working for someone else is the same as being a slave which brings us to how to live a life of luxury method #2.
2) Start your own business. With a job you can only make so much, and you never really have security. By being self employed the possibilities are unlimited. Drawbacks are long hard hours with out pay. You might make it and you might just burn out and/or go broke. Personally this is the route I recommend, but you better be dedicated!
3) Real estate: Once the money is rolling in from your J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) or from your own business then it is time to buy property. Real estate is the best way to invest your hard earned dollars. My formula is “Buy Rent Sell” Buy property leveraging your down payment to get the biggest mortgage you can afford. Rent out your property to cover your mortgage. Once you have built up some equity either sell for a profit or use that equity to buy more property. Simple right? Nothing is simple but it is effective and you can be a millionaire using this strategy in five to ten years.
4) Stock market: If you are the gambling sort then go for it. The stock market can make you a fortune, but it can also make you go broke. The key is to invest only what you can afford to lose.
5) Forex: Forex or foreign exchange is a volatile market where you can make money fast, and lose it even faster. Nobody knows what is going on in the forex market. Get a Practice forex account and play the game with play money, its fun, and until you know what your doing this is a great way to learn. Hot Forex Tip: Choose your currency pairs by throwing darts at board, or get a monkey or a parrot to choose for you; You might as well because like I said nobody knows what is going to happen in the forex market. I made ten grand in two days picking random pairs because I had no idea what I was doing. Forex is a step above going to the casino. If you dont mind losing then go for it because it may pay off big, and unlike the casino you can increase your odds with some education.
